Preheater Tower Deslag
High Peak Access were again asked to complete a deslag of a preheater tower on a client site. Working in two teams across 24 hours, our team completed the deslag safely, successfully and on time.
In addition, the team completed various shutdown tasks such as installing lifting equipment, lifting beam load testing, thickener thank cleaning and assisting other contractors with access solutions.
Heritage Site Catch Fence Installation
High Peak Access Ltd completed various works across the entire 8.5 mile length of the Monsal Trail, from Blackwell Mill in Chee Dale to Bakewell, for the Peak District National Park, including vegetation maintenance, rock face scaling and catch fence installation, helping to maintain the cuttings and improve safety for all visitors. Our team managed the project from start to finish, including all safety documentation and planning, liaison with other contractors on site, maintaining site closures, and completing detailed reports for each section along the trail.
Rescue Provision
High Peak Access provided 24-hour rescue cover for multiple contractors during a quarry shutdown at Tarmac. This included full rescue planning, documentation (rescue plans) and briefings with clients and contractors.
National Highways Geotechnical Design & Installation
High Peak Access Ltd were awarded a contract with Kier Transportation to complete the design and installation of geotechnical works on the M6 Lune Gorge, part of a National Highways scheme.
Two sections of the M6 were prepared and installed with geotechnical netting and rock bolting, using both mobile plant (IPAF) and IRATA rope access to access the working area.
Gantry Crane NDT
Our BI-NDT certified Level 3 IRATA technician completed various NDT on cranes as part of a regular programme of work.
A full report of findings was prepared and supplied to the client.
