High Peak Drones is part of the High Peak Access Ltd group. We bridge the gap between access and UAV, helping our clients to obtain data quickly, efficiently and safely by working together with our in-house multidiscipline IRATA technicians and UAV pilots. We are one of the only companies in the UK providing services to the quarrying industry using drone technology, working in collaboration with our experienced IRATA access team with over 40 years experience.

Our UAV Pilots
Our UAV pilots are qualified and competent to operate a range of drones in a variety of spaces, whether it's a difficult to access area such as confined space or working at height, to heritage sites and quarrying sites.
Our pilots and drone inventory are able to deliver rapid data to clients, reducing downtime and providing a cost saving solution for clients.

Confined Space Drones
Our Elios 3 is capable of flying both externally and internally. With it's surveying payload, we can create accurate 3D maps and digital models using LiDAR technology. Also equipped with the Ultrasonic Testing (UT) payload allows it to measure material thickness and assess asset condition. Together, these capabilities improve safety, reduce downtime, and provide valuable data for inspecting industrial, mining, energy, infrastructure assets and more.

High Performance Enterprise Drones
Capable of geospatial applications, offering advanced mapping, surveying, and construction capabilities with extended flight time and integrated RTK positioning. We can capture high-resolution imagery, create accurate maps, and perform detailed inspections of infrastructure, construction sites, utilities, and industrial assets.Equipped with high-resolution cameras, laser range finding, and advanced mapping capabilities, it can be used for surveys, face inspections, stockpile volume calculations, and more.

Surveying
The Surveying Payload uses a high-resolution Ouster LiDAR sensor and FARO Connect processing software to generate survey-grade 3D point clouds, digital twins, and accurate measurements of tunnels, shafts, tanks, sewers, and industrial infrastructure, with centimetre-level accuracy and mapping ranges of up to 100 metres.

Thickness Testing (NDT)
The Ultrasonic Testing (UT) payload allows it to measure material thickness and assess asset condition. The UTM gauge can take accurate thickness measurements backed up with high-resolution scans in the most challenging areas such as confined spaces and at height. Using LiDAR-based mapping capabilities, thickness readings are automatically geolocated on a digital twin, improving inspection traceability and efficiency.

3D Renders
Capture high-resolution aerial imagery and generate accurate 3D models to provide a detailed visual representation of assets and terrain, supporting volumetric calculations, site planning, geotechnical assessments, and more. By delivering accurate, up-to-date digital models without the need for extensive ground surveying, 3D rendering improves efficiency, enhances decision-making, and provides a safer way to assess hard-to-reach areas.

Inspections & Survey
A powerful drone solution to conduct detailed mapping and inspection of quarry faces, slopes, and more, allowing engineers to monitor rock mass conditions, assess structural features, and track changes over time.Automated flight missions and rapid data capture help to increase efficiency, reduce survey costs, and maintain accurate, up-to-date site information with minimal disruption to operations.

3D Spatial Data & Secure Cloud Hosting
Our services provide an interactive digital data set for clients, allowing engineering teams, stakeholders, and external consultants to navigate assets, measure tolerances with accuracy, annotate structural, view defects and more, all on the digital 3D model.
